VimpelCom’s RAS net profit falls 27% to 10.6 bln rbl in Jan–Jun
MOSCOW, Aug 14 (PRIME) -- The net profit of Russian mobile operator VimpelCom, working under the Beeline brand, decreased 27.2% on the year to 10.634 billion rubles in January–June, as calculated under Russian Accounting Standards (RAS), according to the company’s report seen by PRIME on Monday.
Revenue rose 0.4% to 132.509 billion rubles.
The gross profit grew 7.1% to 77.724 billion rubles. The sales profit went up 3.5% to 36.629 billion rubles. The pretax profit decreased to 12.616 billion rubles from about 19 billion rubles a year earlier.
Long-term liabilities shrank 4.6% in January–June to 152.916 billion rubles as of June 30. Short-term liabilities added some 30% to 193.341 billion rubles.
